It works well, and I like that I can use it to deflate the rafts as well as inflate. This is a big plus at river take-outs when we need to deflate the boats as quickly and completely as possible to get them loaded on the trailer. This product WILL NOT completely inflate a raft, because it isn't designed to. This is a high volume, low pressure inflat or. It will quickly get your raft to about 60-70%, then you must use a high pressure pump to top it off. I'm not sure that folks understand that when they buy it. They think it's not working right when it doesn't get their inflatable item rock hard. I also like that this product comes in either a 12-volt model and a battery clamp model. I prefer the 12-volt model for ease of use in the front and rear cargo area outlets of my SUV. The only reason I have to buy a new "orange torpedo" every few years is that people aren't careful, and they keep stepping on/ driving over the plug end.
