Chicago Pneumatic CP7901 Super Duty Reciprocating Air Saw
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)Spectacular quality tool. I purchased the saw for the sole purpose of cutting clearance for a larger motor in the enclosed stand on my 14" Jet bandsaw. To my delight, I was able to cut the clearance oval in less than 30 minutes using but one of the blades provided with the saw using my portable dual tank Porter Cable air compressor. I had expected that I would have to drag lines from my stationary compressor in another building.
Knowi ng that I can power the saw for small jobs with my portable air compresson I use the tool several times a week.
Most frequently, I use the saw for relief cuts while sculpturing turned wooden vessels.
My single problem with the tool has been locating a supplier for replacement blades. Fortunately the blades delivered with the saw have proven to be extremely durable on wood, aluminum and steel.
