Wel-Bilt Electric Portable Air Compressor - 2.5 Gallon, 120 Volt
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)On 7/10/2010 bought this P/N 100093 compressor, regularly $99.99 on sale at local Northern Tool for $69.99, new. Superb value. Can use AmExp Gold credit card charge to double the normal manufacturer's warranty on buys like this.
Fills its 2.5 gal tank to 100 psi quite quickly and with typical noise level, not at all bad. When pressure drops below 70 psi, pump turns back on and brings pressure back to 100 psi and shuts of f. Fully charged it has plenty of air to top off the air in 4 large automobile tires and to blow out dirty old desktop computers without inconvenience of AC power connection. Pressurized unit is small enough and light enough to be easily carried to the location of the work. Well balanced -- won't fall over.
Only nozzle/tip included is tire inflator sealed by sloppy teflon tape (particularly inconvenient for changing nozzels). Take care of this by buying a separate set of "quick disconnect" nozzles if air hose end/nozzle is to be frequently changed. Not designed for continuous running of nail guns and other such construction power tools.
